Stone with Woodford Playgroup
A warm and caring environment where children feel safe, secure and have fun by learning through play. Rated GOOD by OFSTED in 2022
How we are ran
A voluntary parent run committee manages this group. The committee is made up of three main officers: Chair, Secretary and treasurer and up to nine other parents. Meetings are generally held every term and only committee members voted at our AGM need attend.

The playgroup is registered with The office of standards of education (OFSTED)

The playgroup is also a registered member of PATA (Playgroup and toddler association who regularly provide us with support and training when we require.
​
The playgroup is also a registered provider of nursery education funding scheme for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
​
Parents are actively encouraged to take part in sessions which help to build a close working relationships and good communication links between parents and playgroup staff and it also gives parents a good opportunity to see what a session is like at playgroup.
Fundraising
Fundraising is such an important part of our activities here at playgroup. We encourage as much support with this as possible and fundraising ideas are always welcomed!
